Just to clarify, this isn’t about politics. We simply believe in a brighter future for real estate, one that puts clients over commissions, and we need you to help us spread the message! Create the design that best represents our vision and you’ll win our prize of $1,000!

About JohnHart For President 2024:

You heard it here first: this 2024, JohnHart is running for president... of the United Real Estates of America. That’s right, in our efforts to redefine real estate, we’re throwing our hat in the ring... and maybe a few t-shirts and sweaters while we’re at it! Tired of feeling like you don’t have a choice? Then JohnHart is your only option! We’d say we’re making real estate great again, but it didn’t really get good until we got here! Help us redefine the real estate industry. CONTEST GUIDELINES:

SUBMISSION:

• A. Design must include:

  • The wording: “JohnHart for President 2024”
  • Brand colors: (Red: CMYK 11, 98, 91, 2)
  • Brand fonts: (Ivar, Gilroy) - similar substitutes accepted

• B. No photographic designs

• C. Accepted formats for submissions via email: JPEG, PNG

• D. No gradients / half-tones

• E. Maintain visual appeal at both small and large scales

• F. No AI art (winning source to be downloaded for verification - premade art will be automatically disqualified)

• G. Design must be an original work by the submitting party

• H. Maximum limit of 3 submitted designs per individual

WINNING DESIGN:

• A. Winner must submit source files to contest@jhhre.com within 3 hours of winning announcement

  • - If source files not emailed within 3 hours of winning announcement, a new winner will be selected and the original winner will forfeit the cash prize

• B. Winner to submit design via email in EPS and JPEG / PNG file formats

• C. Final design must be created in vector formatting; design must be able to be reproduced as a quality 300 res/dpi print

• D. Dimensions of design must be a minimum 3” x 3”

• E. Design must be easy to use, handle, resize and manipulate for all reproduction purposes

• F. Final design EPS file to be in CMYK

By submitting an entry via Instagram, each participant hereby agrees to release Instagram for any and all claims related to the Design Contest. The Design Contest hosted by the Company is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. The Company is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or otherwise unusable submissions. Including submissions that are lost or unusable due to computer, internet, or electronic problems.

This document describes the official requirements and rules of the JohnHart for President Swag Design Contest (“Design Contest”). By entering, participants agree to be bound by the Design Contest guidelines, rules, regulations, terms and conditions contained herein. Violating any rule or not following instructions, whether direct or through circumvented means, may eliminate a participant’s eligibility. JohnHart Real Estate, and its affiliates (collectively, the “Company”), reserve the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any entry at any time in its sole and absolute discretion. Please see the Contest Guidelines and the Legal Disclaimers, Terms & Conditions below for more details.

PURPOSE : The Company shall use the winning design in various media including, but not limited to, online, print, merchandise,or anywhere else the Company chooses. There is no fee to enter the Design Contest.

ELIGIBILITY : The Design Contest is open to all United States residents, ages 18 and above, unless stated otherwise herein or prohibited by their state or local law. In the event the selected winner does not meet the eligibility requirements or forfeits the prize, the prize may be awarded to a subsequently selected eligible participant. The winner shall be notified via the manner of their submission (i.e., either by Instagram direct messaging or email) and provided three (3) hours to confirm their acceptance. Failure to respond within the stated time frame shall result in forfeiture of the prize and a new winner shall be selected from a list of eligible participants. Employees, contractors and agents of the Company (and its affiliates) and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children), and/or those living in the same household, are not eligible to participate in the Design Contest.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE : The Design Contest is open from 11:01 a.m. October 19, 2023 PST and closes 11:59 p.m. November 6, 2023 PST. Late submissions shall not be considered.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION : At least two (2) but no more than five (5) finalists shall be selected by a panel of volunteers selected by the Company (the “Panel”) amongst all eligible entries received. On November 10, 2023, the selected finalists shall be revealed and posted on the Company’s Instagram page for public comment. The public shall have the opportunity to express their interest in each selected entry. Thereafter, the Panel shall determine the winning design from the five (5) selected finalists.

SELECTION CRITERIA : All eligible entries will be judged by a panel of volunteers selected by the Company, who shall score each entry on a scale of 1-10 in four different categories : (1) visual appeal and graphics, (2) communication of objective, (3) uniqueness, and (4) overall presentation. Additional consideration may be given to the public commentary on the five (5) selected finalists at the Company’s sole and complete discretion.

WINNING DESIGN ANNOUNCED : The winner shall be announced no later than 4:00 p.m. November 10, 2023 PST, on the official Company Instagram page and/or via e-mail.

PRIZE : The selected participant shall be entitled to a $1,000 cash prize. The cash prize is non-transferable and there will be no other substitutes. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes with respect to the prize. The prize will be mailed to the winner’s mailing address that they provide. Please allow six (6) to eight (8) weeks for delivery.
